Safe transport of long loads

The STD dual chain hoist was developed specifically for long material and loads that need to be picked up at two points. It is equipped with two load chains, which are moved synchronously by a hoist motor. The hook spacing can be selected at will in dependence on the material being transported. The two synchronised rope lead-offs lift and transport the load without dangerous slant by design. The two load hooks work absolutely safely and in sync even in the case of materials of different lengths or uneven loading. Thanks to its low headroom, the STD dual chain hoist is also suitable for low buildings and achieves maximum hook paths.

The chain hoists are also available in explosion-proof design for Zone 1, Zone 21 and Zone 22.

Loads of different lengths can be lifted without problem with the help of the electrically adjustable hook spacing of the STD Vario dual chain hoist.
This custom hoist in a chemical plant consists of an STD 50 dual chain hoist with two synchronised rope lead-offs and an ST 20 as auxiliary hoist.
The two synchronised rope lead-offs ensure safe transport of long material such as, for example, heavy reels of paper.
Using special lifting beams, the dual chain hoist can also lift complete car bodies and transport them safely through the assembly line.

Models

The different models and trolley variants allow not only a wide variety of uses, but also very individualised solutions tailored to specific requirements.

Stationary “Z”

The STD chain hoist is adapted to the width of the load and rigidly mounted on a substructure. The load hooks are on the left and right of the chain hoist.
Stationary “E”

The STD chain hoist is adapted to the width of the load and rigidly mounted on a substructure. The load hooks are on one side of the chain hoist.
“Z” design

The load hooks are on the left and right of the chain hoist.
“E” design

The load hooks are on one side of the chain hoist.
The STD Vario dual chain hoist

The distance between hooks is electrically adjustable and can be individually adapted to loads of different lengths. Both hooks run absolutely in synch. The load hooks cannot be accidentally shifted during lifting or travel.
