SHW 8 winch –
for demanding requirements and heavy loads

 

The SHW 8 winch is based on our field-proven SH programme. It is designed for
the heavy duty range and lifts loads up to 160 tonnes.
In spite of its enormous lifting force the
SHW 8 winch has surprisingly compact dimensions.

Modular design
The modular design permits practically unlimited combinations of the sub-assemblies: thus - as with the SH wire rope hoist - top-quality individual solutions are made possible. For ease of transport, all mechanical components have bolt joints and are equipped with transport lugs.
Plug connectors simplify on-site assembly of the electrics.

Flexible drive technology
We offer various hoist motors for the SHW 8 winch: three motors up to 38 kW with two speeds in a ratio of 1:6 for particularly cost-effective solutions, and five motors up to 98 kW with stepless speed control for particularly convenient operation. In addition individually adapted speeds are available.
All travel drives are equipped with smooth starting characteristics as standard. On request we will supply powerful frequency inverters.

As with all our hoists, the winch is optionally available in explosion-protected design.
